Description
This paper describes the performance of and gives an early view into the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of Memcached running on Cavium ThunderX based servers. We found Cavium’s first-generation ThunderX to have roughly equivalent service level performance compared to a mainstream Xeon E5 across a range of Memcached conditions.
